Can't wait for the next article;also: In our country bb forums there is a dogma that if you eat a high carb meal and you get sleepy you are better on lower carbs and if you are energic when you eat a high carb meal you are better on a high carb diet.
The question comes : I suppose this is mostly bs ( confirm it? ) but I am curious why some times I am very energic after a high carb meal and other times like now I get sleepyness mood... ( I consumed mostly whole grain carbs )
Example: 30 minutes after workout I've consumed like 100 carbs + some protein ( I had great energy and mood ) and 1 hour and 15 minutes later i've prepared a home made pizza with whole grains and now that I ate it I'm sitting at my laptop with a laziness and sleepyness in me that I barely type. <--curious about the things that happen inside ( what mechanism triggers the sleepiness or energy , too slow glucose uptake or too fast or what ?)
I hope I didn't bored you with my silly question also keep up the good work !
JC, thanks for the comment!
