Routine: Fitness Is Habit Forming
I hear it all the time and it’s likely you’ve said it yourself (I know I have). I see it all too often in my Facebook feed from friends and colleagues. It’s usually along the lines of “Time to refocus and get back into it,” or “Woo, finally back.” This is a common lamentation of those wanting to exercise, get in shape, lose the weight, be more active, get a six-pack — whatever their motivation may be at the time. The problem is, this is usually followed by a post about spending 3 hours at the gym and enjoying the soreness, followed by radio silence and finally back to the original “refocus” line. Here’s how to break that cycle:
